BRIDGE IN THE 21ST CENTURY COURSE

Learn to play bridge (or improve your game)

If you are new to bridge, or your game is rusty and you would like to learn newer techniques (what have we learned since Goren's day), this class is for you. Come with a partner or alone; the friendly atmosphere will make you feel at home. The first class will be held at 11 AM, Saturday March 10 at the Miami Valley Bridge Center with a total of 9 consecutive Saturday classes. A map and directions to the Bridge Center are on the Home Page.
This course has been developed by the American Contract Bridge League, and a textbook will be provided as part of the course fee. Mr. Gary Hatten will lead the course - he has many years experience as an teacher and player. You may contact him at 937-281-1432 or GaryHatten8142@aol.com with any specific questions.
Each class will be followed by a lunch and a practice session designed to use what you have learned by playing several hands of bridge. Assistance will be available to answer questions or make suggestions. If you do not have a partner we will put pairs together for the practice session.The cost for all 9 sessions, textbook, lunches and practice sessions is $40. Each Saturday session (class, lunch and practice) will take about 3 hours. Although pre-registration is not required,it would be helpful to know about how many will be participating when ordering textbooks. Please notify Gary Hatten if you plan on attending.
